During the Christmas and New Year period Woodhead Medical Practice will be closed on the following dates.
Please make sure that you order your prescriptions in time remembering that Acute prescriptions take 2 working days to process.
Please note that the practice will be closed on Monday 25th September 2023. The practice will reopen on Tuesday 26th September 2023.
The practice will be closed on Mondays the 1st, 8th and 29th of May for the Bank Holidays. Please make sure you order your prescriptions in a timely manner. 
The practice will be closed on Friday the 7th of April and Monday 10th April for the Easter Bank Holidays. We will open again on Tuesday 11th April.
Following agreement with East Dunbartonshire Health & Social Care Partnership, Woodhead Medical Practice is currently unable to accept new patient registrations. This will be reviewed in April 2023.
There will be no change to services available to existing patients.
Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, we have been informed today (13.09.22) that Monday 19th September 2022 will be a national day of mourning for the state funeral. Monday 19th September has been recognised as an additional public holiday. The practice will be closed on the 19th and will reopen on Tuesday 20th September. If you have an appointment booked for that day we will be in touch in due course to rearrange this. Please try to order any prescriptions you require in a timely manner.
